Located at about 160 km from Jakarta, Anyer beach resides in Banten province, and has been promoted as one of the seven wonders of Banten.  The beach possess a very romantic setting, when the waves are not that big but the sand is clean and white, which makes it an ideal spot for a romantic walk, building sand castles or an entertaining game of volley ball.  The sea water is also clear and safe, so swimming is a very good option to do on this location.

The Anyer beach has many cottages, hotels and home stay, and it will not be difficult to adjust your budget to it, because the price varies from economic to the posh one.  Of course you will want to book your place first because this place is usually packed, especially around the holiday season.

Among others, surfing and jet skiing are also doable.  You can rent the surf board for IDR 5.000 or the Jet Ski for IDR 80.000.  Nevertheless, you can always walk on the beach and enjoy the warm ocean breeze, shop for souvenirs or just simply bathe in the sun.  There are also local hawkers and food stalls which provide great sea food, there are plenty of choices so don’t worry.

The facility in Anyer beach is also quite supportive, recently the local government have also installed a fiber optic network for internet coverage, so, yeah, you can still work if you want to, although I think that it would be a waste in such a good place.
