Carita beach resides in the Banten province, West Java, the same as Anyer beach.  The easy access to this beach makes it a very popular beach destination among local tourists. 

The distance between Jakarta-Carita is about 170 km with three different routes, and the distance from Bogor is about 150 km.  This place is quite easy to find because it is located near the main road of Carita-Labuan.
Carita beach itself is a 3 km beach with white sand and two rivers near them. 

This makes the place special because the rivers provide a kind of diversity for the flora and fauna there, and this makes the place cool and cozy with trees.  Besides your regular beach activities like swimming and sunbathing, in Carita beach you can also rent boats, jet skis and banana boats.  The waves are moderate so swimming and also fishing has become regular activities for tourists who visit Carita.

The closeness of Carita to the legendary Krakatau volcano has provide a spectacular view of sunset, and also a curious hot water spring on Batukuwung, which is located not far from the beach.  In Carita you can also visit various places such as the Tourism Park or the beautiful Curug Gendang waterfall.

Feel like sailing? When you do rent a boat, go and visit the underwater park, located about two hours from shore.  Here you can actually plunge in and walk among the fish and corals, while admiring the beautiful creations of Mother Nature.
