What is a water boom?  I don’t even know if I say it right.  There are some people who called this place water boom, and some called it waterbom.  But the point is water boom is a water park.  That’s right!  A place where water is the main objects of attraction..

In the Jakarta area, there are two water booms.  One is located in Cikarang (Lippo Water Boom), and the other is located in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.  Both of them have several similar treats, such as the aqua tube, long endless pools of streaming water, and also several deep pools that you can use for regular swimming.  And anyway, whichever you choose, it is water fun all the way.

Cikarang is located near Bekasi.  If you exit Jakarta and heading towards Bandung, you will meet Cikarang in about an hour or so.  There’s really nothing to see in this small area, because they expand due to the industrial area clusters that were set up there.   Lippo Cikarang Water Boom was set up by the gigantic real estate company Lippo, at the Lippo Estate area.  This place was set up to be the eco-friendly type of place, with a lot of trees and a Balinese ambience.  Check out the volley pool, various slides for children (and adults), and several outbound attractions for your children.  You can also get a spa treatment here, so it is really relaxing time for you and for your family.  This place also got the Bebek Bali Restaurant, and the food court lies right next to the pools.  This is a great place to cool off.

Pantai Indah Kapuk is located at North Jakarta.  The Water Boom is close to the Damai Indah Golf Course, so this would be a perfect place for your family to hang out, while you try to finish off that stressing game on the golf course (and get them off your back for a while).  This place has several water slide type, closed, half open and fully open.  Be sure to check your children’s height before rushing to these slides, because they do have height requirements due to safety reasons.   This place has the two fastest water slide lane in Jakarta, so be sure to check them out and have loads of fun!  However, if you’re not the thriller type, just float in the relaxing water of the regular swimming pool.  This place also provides various snacks and food, so you can also enjoy your meal while watching your children play.
